PAIDATTENTION.LOL
LIVE BOARD
RULES.
NO FINE PRINT.
Paid Attention is a live, public leaderboard for one-minute founder pitches. Founders bid for competitive paid placement; the full amount of every activated bid becomes that project's placement credit.
VERSION 2026-08-21.2WHAT A BID BUYS
- Bids are whole US-dollar placement purchases: $2 minimum and $1 increments.
- A bid is not a fee merely to participate or submit an offer. After verified payment and successful publication checks, the full captured amount becomes non-transferable active placement credit for that project.
- Every publishable project with positive active placement credit is eligible for display on the live board. There is no single winner, auctioned product, prize, payout, or losing bid fee.
- Placement credit cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another project, redeemed for cash, or sold to another person.
HOW RANKING WORKS
- Rank is active placement credit—nothing else. Views, completion rate, project visits, and founder popularity never change rank.
- Higher active placement credit ranks higher. Paying less than the current #1 amount still places a publishable pitch wherever its active credit belongs.
- Equal active credit keeps payment order: the project that reached the amount first stays higher.
- To move up later, the same founder pays only the server-calculated difference between the project's active credit and the selected total.
- Checkout never reserves a position. If the board changes during payment, the captured amount still becomes project credit and rank is recalculated live.
WHAT YOU CAN PITCH
- A genuine product with an HTTPS website and a founder video no longer than 60 seconds.
- The project name, pitch, founder identity, and destination must describe the same product.
- You must own or have permission to use every image, clip, voice, logo, person, and piece of music in the video.
- Chat and invite links are not allowed—Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar group destinations do not belong on the board.
- Sexual content, adult platforms, gambling, fee-based auctions, financial schemes, fake engagement, counterfeit products, malware, phishing, impersonation, hate, illegal goods, and deliberately misleading claims are not allowed.
- Link shorteners are expanded. Affiliate, referral, and tracking query parameters are removed.
- GitHub, Apple App Store, and Google Play links are keyed by their canonical repository or app path, so unrelated projects on the same platform do not share one placement.
PROCESSING + PAYMENT RUN TOGETHER
- After final submission, video processing, deterministic safety checks, and Stripe Checkout can run in parallel. Human content review never delays Checkout or first publication.
- No account or email is required. The founder must retain the private project link used to check publishing status and add credit later.
- A captured first payment creates no active credit, rank, or public placeholder until the normalized video is ready and the destination and media checks pass.
- If a deterministic check fails after capture—or publishing still cannot finish within 30 minutes—the first payment is automatically refunded in full and the pitch never appears.
- When payment and the deterministic checks are both ready, the pitch goes live immediately as unreviewed. The owner reviews live content afterward and may suspend it under the Content Policy.
- Final submission permanently locks the video, project name, tagline, public identity, and destination. Re-uploads, edits, and replacements are not supported; an active founder may only add paid placement credit.
AFTER YOU PAY
- A completed payment activates only when the video and deterministic publication checks are ready. A success-page redirect alone never activates credit or claims a position.
- Your pitch, active placement credit, qualified views, watch percentage, and project visits are public. Private founder and payment details are not.
- Project visits go to the checked, immutable destination without affiliate, referral, or tracking parameters.
- Position can change immediately when another project activates more placement credit.
- Payment buys placement credit and display eligibility—not guaranteed traffic, views, clicks, engagement, leads, sales, revenue, a fixed position, or a fixed amount of time at a position.
- Refunds and payment disputes reduce active placement credit and can move, pause, or remove a placement.
