PAIDATTENTION.LOL
LIVE BOARD
TERMS.
These Terms explain the competitive paid-placement service, what a bid purchases, and what Paid Attention does and does not promise.
VERSION 2026-08-21.2THE SERVICE
- Paid Attention operates a public, competitive paid-placement board for immutable founder video pitches.
- Founders choose a whole-dollar amount described publicly as a bid. A bid is not a fee merely to participate or submit an offer: after verified payment and successful publication checks, the entire amount becomes non-transferable active placement credit for that project.
- Every publishable project with positive active placement credit is eligible for display on the live board. There is no single winner, auctioned product, prize, payout, or transfer of funds between users.
YOUR SUBMISSION
- You must be authorized to represent the project and grant us permission to host, process, display, and promote the submitted video and project information.
- Final submission is permanent for this release: no edits, re-uploads, replacements, or founder-initiated pauses are supported.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the pitch and for all necessary rights to its video, music, logos, people, claims, and other material.
- The project, founder identity, pitch, and destination must describe the same genuine product and must comply with the Rules and Content Policy.
PAYMENT + PLACEMENT CREDIT
- Bids are charged in whole US-dollar amounts, with a minimum first purchase of $2 USD. The displayed amount and currency are shown before Stripe Checkout opens.
- Checkout does not reserve a position. A first payment becomes active placement credit only after Stripe verifies payment and the submitted project passes the stated publication checks.
- Additional purchases increase the same project's active placement credit by the amount charged. Credit cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another project, redeemed for cash, or sold to another person.
- A return from Stripe Checkout without a verified payment event does not activate credit or create a board position.
LIVE RANKING
- Projects are ordered by active placement credit, highest first. If two projects have equal active credit, the project that reached that amount first remains higher.
- Position can change immediately when another project activates more placement credit, including while you are completing Checkout.
- Views, watch percentage, project visits, founder popularity, and other engagement measurements never determine position.
- Refunds, payment disputes, moderation actions, or the end of an announced board round may reduce, move, pause, or remove a placement.
WHAT IS NOT GUARANTEED
- Payment purchases placement credit and eligibility for display on the live board; it does not purchase ownership of a position or a guaranteed duration at any rank.
- We do not guarantee impressions, video views, watch time, clicks, engagement, leads, sales, revenue, or any other audience or commercial outcome.
- The service depends on payment, hosting, media, network, destination, security, and moderation systems and is provided subject to reasonable availability and maintenance.
MODERATION + REFUNDS
- Publishable pitches may go live as unreviewed and are moderated afterward. We may suspend or remove content that violates the Rules or Content Policy, presents risk, infringes rights, or is unlawful.
- A failed first publication is handled under the Refund Policy. Moving down because another project activates more placement credit is not, by itself, a failure to provide the placement service.
- A removal caused by a submission's policy violation does not automatically qualify for a refund. Mandatory consumer and statutory rights remain unaffected.
- Verified refunds and payment disputes reduce active placement credit and may move or remove a project from the board.
ACCEPTABLE USE + LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Paid Attention is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, or audience outcomes. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Do not attack the service, scrape it abusively, bypass signed media URLs, manipulate metrics, submit deceptive material, interfere with payments or ranking, or attempt to obtain unauthorized access.
- Questions and complaints may be sent through the public operator contact shown in the site footer. The verified legal operator name, registered address, dedicated support contact, governing law, and dispute process must be published before production payments are enabled.
